Welcome to my fashion world!

Pronti? VIA!

And here I am, starting this new virtual adventure.

My name is Maria Francesca and I'm a normal girl with a normal life, made up of friends, family, work and passions.
The greatest of my passions, fashion, inspired me to venture into this challenge.
I have just completed a professional course as a Personal Shopper and Fashion Designer, but I have always been a fan of fashion anyways, in all its forms: I grew up in the world of leather goods, but my passion has increased over time the more I started learning and informing myself about what fashion is all about, from the designers to the fashion shows or the latest trends.
My dream has always been to work as a Personal Shopper and Image Consultant, and not surprisingly my business role model is Rachel Zoe.

Recently some of my friends started suggesting me to create a blog to write about my passion, and it seems that finally I found the courage to do this.

What I have noticed in recent years is that fashion blogs and their fashion bloggers tend to be all very similar.

With all due respect to the now web celebrities and social networks icons, I've always found them quite out of reach. I mean, who wouldn’t like to have a model body and dress Valentino and Saint Laurent?
In primis I speak for myself, but I think that like me, most people, most girls are "normal" girls. They are not models, they do not have an ultra-luxury wardrobe, they cannot afford make up artists and hairstylists every time of the day and night and they definitely do not attend the red carpet.
So while I admit that these Fashion Bloggers’ blogs are beautiful and full of artistic photos, I find them a bit too far from what is everyday life. They make us dream, as in the pages of Vogue with all those wonderful photo services, where it’s hard to decide whether focusing on the dress or on the photo itself.

This is why I decided to try to do something different. I want a blog that is accessible to all, that can also be really interesting to those who do not wear a size 38 or cannot buy Fendi and show it off at the most exclusive parties.

The photos will be of normal girls who, in their simplicity, create fashion in the real world, the fashion of those who get up every day, work, go out with friends, and, in their daily lives, create their own style.

This is not to say that I won’t be talking about the most famous and extraordinary designers and fashion houses at all, of course I will. But hopefully we may get to know them better, to find out more about their work and their careers.

But there is more. We will look at the small details that can make a difference in creating an outfit, what we need to bring out in the different body types, how to show the very best of ourselves, all the seasonal trends...

Because beauty is not in a size, and elegance does not have measurements.

And to do all this, I will need all the help I can get from all of you with comments, emails, and more.

Ready? GO!
